Stacks Image 48
It consists of the ability to mass-produce molecule-trapping nanostructures, engineered to interconnect protein biomarkers and transform them into components of integrated circuits. The detection is enabled via their digital signals and their particular characteristics (resistance / capacitance) are obtained through their analog signals, paving the way for a new approach to categorize molecules on a very attractive and scalable manner.
The breakthrough is the ability to mass-produce these nanostructures with a precision down to 2nm in a cost-effective way based on simple chemical baths. Our self-assembly processes have proven to simultaneously produce them at the desired separation with a
yield up to 96%. From a manufacturing standpoint, it is as simple as introducing the chips into a plating solution and then rinsing it out.
