Pierre is the Founder and CEO of Mursla Bio, a precision medicine and diagnostics company developing tissue-specific extracellular vesicle (EV) technology to enable tissue-resolved multiomics from blood, a new foundational data layer for precision medicine.
Under his leadership, Mursla Bio developed EvoLiver, the first EV-based test to receive FDA Breakthrough Device Designation for liver cancer surveillance, and established a first-of-its-kind EV-guided precision medicine partnership with a leading global pharmaceutical company in MASH, from biomarker validation through companion diagnostic development. The platform is liver-first and extensible across organs.
Pierre co-developed the platform during research in biophysics at the Cavendish Laboratory, University of Cambridge, building on advanced mathematical training from France's classe préparatoire. He is a named author and inventor across publications and patents in EV biosensing.
Prior to founding Mursla Bio, Pierre spent a decade in healthcare investment banking at J.P. Morgan, rising to senior Vice President, where he completed 20+ transactions totaling more than $70B and led teams of 40+ professionals across EMEA. He holds a Master in Management from HEC Paris.
